Roberta Pate, 68, of Omaha, formerly of Ottumwa, died at 3:23 p.m. May 31, 2025 at her home.
She was born October 2, 1956 in Ottumwa to James R. and Clela Ferne Toopes Pate.
Roberta graduated from North High School in Omaha. She worked at Mister C’s Steakhouse for over 20 years and Rotella’s Italian Bakery, retiring in 2023.
She enjoyed crafting, especially crocheting and needle pointing.
Surviving are her siblings, James Pate, Edward Pate, Thomas Pate and Barbara Waltermeyer all of Omaha, NE; several nieces and nephews; and 3 fur babies.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Michael Pate.
Visitation will be open at 2 p.m. Friday, June 6th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7th at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Mel Kendall officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
