Bradley Allen Johnson, known affectionately as Brad, a faithful man, completed his earthly journey on September 27, 2026. Born on September 6, 1963, in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Robert William and Mildred Louise (Perry) Johnson, A hard-working and dedicated man, Bradley was a pillar of the farming community, pouring his heart and soul into farming until his retirement in 2023.
Raised amidst the rolling hills and fertile soils, Bradley’s love for farming was rivaled only by his love for his family and the great outdoors. A graduate of Eddyville High-school, class of 1981, he married Marcie Landtiser on August 5, 1987. Though their paths would eventually diverge, their shared memories and love for their family remained. Bradley cherished his time spent with his grandchildren, creating memories that will continue to bring joy and comfort in the years to come. An avid hunter, especially mushroom hunting, and he was passionate about his guns, appreciating their craftsmanship and the skill required in their use. In recent years, he enjoyed vacationing with his family, attending his grandchildren’s events, and going out to eat with all of his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Johnson, Tina (Aaron) Rist; grandchildren, Samantha (Aiden), Mandi, Aliveah (Blake), Dalton, Parker, Lorelai; siblings, Dennis (Sue) Johnson, Marlene (Bernie) Slings, Sharon (Jim) Davis, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Johnson; sister, Karen Johnson; niece, Denise Johnson; nephew, Christian Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, opening to the public at 3 p.m., with family present from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Eddyville Celebrate Life Center. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, October 1, 2026 with Pastor Nick Hughes officiating at the Eddyville Celebrate Life Center. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the family and will be directed later.
