Christina Rose Hulen, 40, of Ottumwa died at 6:25 p.m. September 26, 2026 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
She was born August 21, 1986 in Champaign, IL to Kenneth Hulen and Jeanne Alexander.
Growing up in Ottumwa, Chrissie graduated from Ottumwa High School.
She loved music and singing. Chrissie had a beautiful voice. She also enjoyed reading, collecting turtles and watching scary movies.
Surviving are her children, Delilah, Porter and Gage; her mother, Jeanne Hare of Oskaloosa; her father, Kenneth Hulen; brothers, Adam (Amanda) Hulen of Oskaloosa, Joshua Shinofield of Des Moines and Jacob of Ottumwa; her boyfriend, Robert Johnson.
Her body has been cremated and services are not planned at this time. A time to celebrate her life may be held at a later date.
