PART-TIME CAMERA OPERATOR – CARDINAL FOOTBALL
Position Overview
Do you love football, sports broadcasting, or video production? Here’s your opportunity to be part of
a live sports production team while getting paid!
Ottumwa Radio Group is currently seeking a Camera Operator for our LIVE YouTube broadcasts
of Cardinal Football during the upcoming football season.
Responsibilities
– Operate a professional tripod-mounted video camera during live Cardinal football broadcasts.
– Run the vMix live production software throughout each game.
– Work alongside our experienced play-by-play broadcast team.
– Arrive prior to kickoff for equipment setup and remain after the game for teardown.
– No previous experience is necessary—we’ll train the right person!
Paid Training Program
Training includes:
– Professional camera operation
– vMix live production software
– Tripod camera techniques and game coverage
– Studio board operations
– Live sports broadcasting fundamentals
Compensation
– $50 per football game broadcast
– Company vehicle provided OR
– $0.40 per mile reimbursement if using your own vehicle
– Paid training at $15 per hour
Ideal Candidate
– Dependable and punctual
– Enjoys football and local sports
– Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
– Able to learn new technology
– High school or college students are encouraged to apply
– No broadcasting experience required

FULL-TIME RADIO & DIGITAL SALES EXECUTIVE
Ottumwa Radio Group is seeking a motivated, energetic, and relationship-driven Radio & Digital Sales
Executive to join our growing team. This position focuses on helping local businesses succeed through
customized advertising and marketing solutions across radio, digital, video, streaming, social media, and
more.
This territory includes areas such as Jefferson, Van Buren, and Keokuk Counties.
Sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with ambition, confidence, and
strong communication skills.
What You’ll Do
– Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses
– Develop customized radio and digital advertising campaigns
– Prospect and generate new business opportunities
– Meet with clients in person throughout the region
– Create marketing strategies designed to help businesses grow
– Present advertising proposals and close sales
– Coordinate campaigns with internal creative and production teams
– Maintain client communication and account management
– Represent Ottumwa Radio Group professionally in the community

– Confidence speaking with business owners and decision-makers
– Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

– Social media and digital knowledge is a plus
