The Vintage Car Cruisers are helping make a young Ottumwa-area girl’s pageant journey a little easier.
During Friday evening’s cruise-in at the Quincy Place Mall parking lot, the club presented a $320 check to Veyda Leffler to help with expenses as she travels to Tennessee for her next pageant.
Veyda will be traveling with her family as she continues her pageant journey and prepares for the national competition in Nashville, Tennessee.
Veyda’s mother, Hallie Leffler, shared her excitement about the upcoming trip.
“We leave to start our journey to nationals in Nashville, Tennessee. I can’t wait to go on this journey with my baby girl and my mom. This is going to be a trip of a lifetime that I’ve been waiting for,” Leffler said.
