Rob’s early education began at Harmony and then transitioned to Fairfield from 4th through 8th grade. His pursuit of excellence continued at Van Buren, whereas a dedicated student, Rob found his passion for sports and academics. Rob was not afraid to stand out and put in the work to make a difference at anything he set his mind to. He was committed and pushed himself to achieve every task he set out to complete. A multisport athlete, he excelled in football, basketball, archery, track, and baseball, proudly standing as an all-academic team member in each. The proudest event in Rob’s life was when his final report card came in the mail with straight A’s with a 4.0 GPA. All he could say was “Someone take a picture and send it to Matt Jones.” His dedication was evident not only on the field and in school but also
in his role as an employee at the Jet Stop in Bonaparte, where he was known for his strong work ethic and infectious smile.

Rob was an avid gamer and would participate in the gaming world of PS4 with his friends. He spent countless hours in the batting cages of Farmington, perfecting his swing alongside his sister. Rob’s incredible sense of humor and his ability to light up any room will be deeply missed by his family, his community, and the many friends he made along the way.
