A water buffalo that has been lose in Pleasant Hill is still unable to be contained.
On August 24, Pleasant hill police spotted a water buffalo on the 2000 block of NE 56th Street. The animal avoided there attempt to guide it back to its owner’s property. Officials had to shoot the water buffalo with one shotgun round to control its aggression.
On August 26, city officials, the Pleasant Hill Police Department, and the Polk County Sheriff’s Department continue their search where the water buffalo was last seen.
