An Ottumwa woman assaulted an individual with her fingernails.
41-year-old Dana Reyes was charged with assault causing bodily injury.
On August 9 at 12:47 a.m, court records say Reyes grabbed the individuals face and cut him with her finger nails. Authorities say Reyes followed the victim outside and struck the victim.
Reyes was taken to the Wapello County Jail. She paid a $1,000 bond and has a preliminary hearing on August 30.
