Keokuk County 4-H is kicking off its annual Butter Braid fundraiser this week, giving community members a chance to support local youth programs through the end of the month, according to a social media post from Keokuk County Extension.
Orders are being accepted October 19 through November 2. Those who order can pick up their items Saturday, November 14, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Keokuk County Extension Office.
Proceeds are split evenly between two purposes — half goes toward 4-H enrollment fees and county 4-H events, while the other half goes directly back to the 4-H or Clover Kid club the member placing the order belongs to.
Orders can be placed online at go.iastate.edu/CFYXW1, through physical order forms available at the Extension Office, or by contacting a Keokuk County 4-H or Clover Kid member directly.
