The City of Ottumwa announced the road closures for RAGBRAI.
On July 25, according to The City of Ottumwa, the 100, 200, and 300 blocks of East Main Street will be closed. Market Street from Canteen Alley to the south side of Market Street Bridge will be closed. Green Street will be closed between the alleys on both sides of the 200 block of East Main Street. The Muni Parking Lot, located next to the hydro dam, will be closed to the general public. On the south side, the 100 block of Church Street will be closed.
The City expects the downtown street closures to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24.
On July 26, Business Highway 34 between the roundabout that intersects with Highway 63 and Highway 34 will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. JBS traffic will be allowed from the roundabout to South Iowa Avenue during this time.
Off ramps from Highway 34 at Exit 191 will be closed from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.
