Mount Pleasant, IA – Once again, the Mount Pleasant Festival of Lights impresses the community. Beginning in 2013 and added to each year, this years Festival is the most enchanting yet.
Stretching over a mile and a half, everyone is guaranteed to find a favorite light display. From Santa on a tractor to the Elves Workshop, each turn of the journey brings a new surprise. The entire path is lined with Christmas lights, allowing folks to turn off their headlights and enjoy the displays.
I have been told that LEDs and computer programs are behind some of the most impressive displays but I refuse to listen, knowing in my heart that they are run on Christmas Magic. Take your family, turn on some Christmas music and enjoy the Holiday Spirit.
