A Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputy located a woman with an outstanding arrest warrant during routine patrol Monday evening, according to a press release from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
On September 21st at approximately 6:30 p.m., a deputy located Maria Anne Wilcox, 27, at a residence in the 700 block of Iowa Street in Milton. Wilcox had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Cedar County, Iowa for failing to appear on a Possession of Methamphetamine — First Offense charge. She was taken into custody without incident and extradited back to Cedar County Tuesday morning.
