The Ottumwa Civil War Round Table will hold its September meeting this Thursday, September 17, at Hotel Ottumwa.
David Stringfellow will present “Oyez! The Confederate who became the Chief Justice of the U.S.” The program will offer an interesting look at a unique and little-known chapter in American history.
Dinner will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the meeting and program at 6:45 p.m.
The public is invited to join the Ottumwa Civil War Round Table for an evening of history, discussion and interesting insight from David Stringfellow.
