On Friday, August 21, 2026, a four-way stop will be installed at the intersection of West Finley Avenue and Ferry Street.
Drivers who regularly travel Ferry Street should expect the new stop and slow down accordingly, particularly in the first weeks after
installation when some motorists may not yet anticipate the change.
Pedestrians crossing at the intersection should continue to make eye contact with drivers and confirm vehicles are stopping
before crossing, since not all motorists will be accustomed to the new signage right away.
