The Mint N More Foundation is inviting area residents to take part in a series of upcoming events focused on local food, gardening and community connections.

Through its outreach initiative, Mindful Nourishment Matters, the foundation works to encourage healthier food options and expand opportunities for residents to learn about growing and accessing locally produced food.

The organization recently expanded its community efforts with the opening of the Knoxville Community Garden and the launch of the Gathered Local Foods Market. The online market provides an opportunity for residents to purchase products directly from local food producers.

In addition to these projects, the foundation regularly offers educational programs and hands-on activities designed to help community members develop gardening skills and learn more about local food resources.

Several events are planned in the coming weeks:

  • August 22: Farm to Table Dinner at the Countryside Event Center
  • August 26: Pop-Up Market at Homestead of Knoxville
  • September 1: Seed Saving Workshop at the Knoxville Community Garden
  • September 12: Rural Routes: Food Grows Here program at the Knoxville Community Garden
