Four Farmington juveniles ranging in age from 9 to 17 years old have been identified as suspects in connection with a stolen motorcycle and will be referred to juvenile court, according to a press release from Van Buren County Sheriff Brad Hudson.
On August 17th, the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a small Honda motorcycle had been found in Farmington, apparently hidden on vacant property. The rightful owner was located and was not yet aware that the motorcycle had been stolen from their property.
The four juveniles will be referred to juvenile court on charges of Theft in the Second Degree, Possession of Stolen Property, and Trespassing.
Additionally, one of the four juveniles will face separate juvenile court referrals for Trespassing and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent in connection with a separate incident reported on the night of August 19th in the 300 block of Elm Street in Farmington.
Because those involved are juveniles, no further identifying information is being released.
