Absentee Ballots Must Be Returned By Election Day

3

Voters who still have an absentee ballot for today’s election are reminded that their completed ballot must be received by the County Auditor’s Office no later than Election Day, November 3.

Voters who have not yet mailed their absentee ballot are encouraged to hand-deliver it to their County Auditor’s Office to help ensure it arrives before the deadline.

Simply placing an absentee ballot in the mail on Election Day will not guarantee it is received in time. Ballots must be in the hands of the County Auditor by the close of polls at 8 p.m.

Wapello County voters may return their completed absentee ballots to the Auditor’s Office at the Wapello County Courthouse.

Voters are encouraged to make arrangements to return their ballots as soon as possible to ensure their votes are counted.
