Motorists and residents are being advised of a temporary alley closure beginning Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in Ottumwa.
The alley between the 100 block of Vogel Avenue and the 100 block of Vanness Avenue will be closed to through traffic to allow for concrete repairs.
The closure is expected to remain in place through the remainder of the week, weather permitting.
Residents will continue to have access to both ends of the alley during the repair work. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and exercise caution around the work area.
Drivers should plan accordingly while crews complete the necessary improvements.
