The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the addition of Ethan Bisgard as its new high school intern, according to a press release from the Chamber.
Bisgard, a senior at Fairfield High School, is active in football, basketball, track, and baseball. He plans to pursue a degree in Accounting and Finance following graduation. His parents are Troy and Angie Bisgard.
Bisgard joins the Chamber following Archer Kreuter, who served as the program’s first high school intern. Bisgard becomes the second student to hold the position.
In his role at the Chamber, Bisgard will assist with communications, events, finding member events for the calendar and newsletter, adding the Chamber Chatter, and day-to-day office tasks.
Chamber Executive Director Mendy McAdams expressed excitement about the addition. “High school internships are a great way for students to gain hands-on experience, discover their strengths, and see the many opportunities available right here in our community,” McAdams said. “We’re thrilled to welcome Ethan to the Chamber team and are excited to see the perspective, creativity, and enthusiasm he brings to the office.”
