The Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse is asking for the public’s help in locating 51-year-old Eddy Alvin Moss of West Des Moines.
According to authorities, Moss was last known to have contact with someone on June 1, 2026. He is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. Moss has brown hair and blue eyes.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who may have seen Moss or has information about his whereabouts to contact the West Des Moines Police Department or the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse.
Officials stress that if members of the public believe they have spotted Moss, they should not attempt to approach or take action on their own. Instead, they are encouraged to gather as much information as possible, including the exact location, vehicle descriptions, license plate numbers, or any activities observed, and immediately report that information to authorities.
Anyone with information related to Moss’s disappearance is asked to contact the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation’s Missing Person Information Clearinghouse at 515-725-6036.
