The Eddyville Funeral Chapel, now known as the Eddyville Celebrate Life Center, has completed an extensive renovation designed to create a more welcoming and comforting environment for families during life’s most difficult moments.
The renovation focused on transforming the facility into a space where families can gather not only to make funeral arrangements or attend services, but also to celebrate the lives of loved ones. Every surface throughout the building has been updated, giving the center an entirely new look and feel.
Among the improvements is new seating, made possible through a generous donation of chairs from Eddyville First Christian Church. The Celebrate Life Center expressed its appreciation for the church’s support and contribution to the project.
The remodeled facility also features a new kitchenette, a dedicated conference room, an expanded restroom, and upgraded audio and video equipment. The new audio and video system was donated by Dr. Joe Bates, DDS. Local artists Maeleigh Claver, Riley Calhoun, and Crystal Booy also contributed artwork that adds a personal and welcoming touch throughout the building.
The renovation was completed with the community in mind, creating a space where families can gather to honor loved ones while also hosting celebrations of life and other meaningful occasions.
