Jefferson County Health Center Welcomes Three New Providers

Jefferson County Health Center is expanding its care team with the addition of three new providers across its Fairfield and Ottumwa clinic locations, strengthening access to healthcare for patients throughout the region.

Kim Brown, DNP, MSN, BSN, ARNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC has begun working part-time at JCHC Clinic in Ottumwa as a Family Practice Provider. Brown brings extensive experience with a focus on disease prevention, chronic disease management, and holistic patient-centered care. She sees patients across the lifespan — from pediatrics to geriatrics — with particular expertise in supporting older adults and those with complex chronic medical needs. In addition to her clinical work, she has been involved in nursing education, health policy advocacy, and community health initiatives throughout her career. Brown is passionate about improving healthcare access in rural communities and addresses both physical and mental health needs in her practice.

Kim Wright, ARNP, FNP-C has joined the JCHC Walk-In Clinic in Fairfield and is already seeing patients. A Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience, Wright brings a background spanning trauma, critical care, women’s health, and family medicine. She is well known to the JCHC team, having previously served as House Supervisor in the Emergency Department where she played an important role supporting both patients and staff.

Theresa Stoker, ARNP, FNP-C will be joining JCHC Clinic in Fairfield, bringing decades of clinical experience across primary care, neurology, sleep medicine, occupational health, long-term care, emergency services, and education. Stoker has cared for patients of all ages and has extensive experience managing both acute and chronic health conditions. Throughout her career she has also served in leadership, education, and care coordination roles, and is deeply committed to community health, wellness education, and rural healthcare.
