The Iowa Eats Food & Drink Festival is set to bring a taste of the state’s rich agricultural roots and diverse culinary talent to the community this weekend. Designed as a lively and family-friendly experience, the festival showcases the best of Iowa’s food and beverage scene while highlighting the importance of local agriculture.

Hosted by the Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area, the event aims to connect attendees with the people and traditions behind Iowa’s food industry. Organizers say the festival not only celebrates local flavors, but also supports ongoing efforts to preserve and promote the region’s agricultural heritage.

Visitors can expect a wide range of attractions, including food tastings, live cooking demonstrations, and interactive exhibits. Local chefs, restaurants, farms, meat lockers, wineries, and artisan producers will all be featured, offering attendees a chance to explore Iowa-grown ingredients and handcrafted products in one place.

The festival will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Waterloo Convention Center. Organizers encourage families, food enthusiasts, and community members to attend and experience the flavors and traditions that make Iowa’s culinary scene unique.
