The regular monthly Veterans Mobile Food Distribution will be held Thursday, December 4th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Emergency Management building, 2417 Emma Street. All veterans from Wapello and surrounding counties, as well as surviving spouses and widows, are encouraged to attend.
Important Registration Notes:
- Veterans who have participated in the past but have not attended since June must provide verification of address and veteran status.
- First-time participants must show proof of veteran status and residential address, regardless of the month.
- The annual Food Bank re-registration for all veterans took place July 3.
Menu and Updates:
Tune in at 8 a.m. on distribution day to Ellis Codjoe’s Dialogue Show on 1240 A.M. and 102.7 F.M. KBIZ for “Veterans Corner with Deb & Don.” Hosts Deb Roe and Don Lewis will share the menu for the day and provide useful information for veterans.
This is a great opportunity for veterans and their families to receive support, connect with the community, and stay informed.
