Pella Regional Health Center is proud to announce that Rachel Parker, Patient Care Technician at Pella Regional Health Center is the recipient. The ROSE Award is a rewards program for our Patient Care Technicians. ROSE is an acronym for Recognition of Service Excellence. Recipients of the ROSE award demonstrate excellence through their compassionate care, outstanding communication skills, and clinical expertise.
Excerpt from Rachel’s nomination:
“Rachel is a PCT on the night shift who goes above and beyond for our patients every night she comes to work. She comes with a smile on her face, and you can feel the warmth in her heart. She loves her job and her patients. Rachel consistently seems to know what we as nurses need, sometimes before we need it. She makes sure our patients are well-cared for, their rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable, and are ready for a good night’s sleep or a good delivery, whichever the night calls for! Rachel helps to keep our department running smoothly, and I know she makes every night I work with her a better shift!”
