A Bloomfield man was charged after attempting to burglarize a vehicle.
43-year-old Joseph Davis was charged with burglary 3rd degree – 1st offense.
On the afternoon of August 2, court records say Davis entered a vehicle on North Weller Street. According to responding officers, Davis was seen going through binders and had removed a credit card from the victim’s belongings. Law enforcement arrested Davis.
Davis was transported to the Wapello County Jail. He is being held with a $2,000 bond and a preliminary hearing is on August 9.
