A Mississippi man was arrested last week after police say he was found with drugs and guns in his possession.
34-year-old Fred Anthony Zuiceh III of Picayune, Mississippi has been charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine (Class B felony), possession of a controlled substance – marijuana (serious misdemeanor), failure to affix a drug tax stamp (Class D felony), two counts of persons ineligible to carry dangerous weapons (serious misdemeanor), and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
Court records say at 2:20 AM on April 26, officers from the Ottumwa Police Department made contact with Zuiceh on the 2800 block of North Court Street based on the report of a man with a firearm.
Police performed a probable cause search of the vehicle because there was paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle. Officers allegedly found 25.7 grams of a crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine, a marijuana cigarette, a THC vape container, scales, packaging materials, a handgun, and a shotgun.
Zuiceh was taken into custody and transported to the Wapello County Jail. His bail has been set at $30,000.
