Area high school musical artists are invited to take part in a competition sponsored by the Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra next month.
The competition will be held Sunday, February 11 at 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church, 228 W. Fourth Street, Ottumwa, Iowa. Any student in grades 9-12 who live in Iowa is eligible to audition.
The first-place winner will receive $300 and have the opportunity to perform with the Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra during the March 9th concert at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa. The second-place cash prize is $200 and third place is $100.
