Halloween Safety Reminder

Parents and caregivers should plan routes ahead of time, accompany younger children and remind trick-or-treaters to use sidewalks and cross streets carefully. Children should carry flashlights or wear reflective items to help drivers see them after dark.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down and watch for children in residential neighborhoods during scheduled trick-or-treat hours.
