Residents in a portion of Farmington are under a boil order until noon on Monday, September 21st following a water main break, according to a notice from the City of Farmington.
The boil order affects residents who live south of Walnut Street between South Front Street and South 4th Street. Residents outside of that area are not affected and may use their water normally.
Until the boil order is officially lifted, affected residents should boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or any other consumption. City crews are working to repair the break and restore water service as soon as possible.
