State Representative and four-time Paralympian Josh Turek submitted thousands of signatures from Iowans across the state to qualify for the ballot. Turek’s signers are teachers, farmers, nurses, electricians, and other working class folks from every corner of the state.
“Our campaign is driven by Iowans from all different backgrounds who agree on one thing: we need more representatives from the working class in D.C. A huge thank you to all our tireless volunteers who knocked doors and collected signatures from river to river. We’re building the coalition that’s going to take Tom Harkin’s seat back so Iowa can once again have a Senator who is fighting for the people,” said Josh Turek.
Signatures come from all 99 counties with more than 100 in some of the reddest counties in the state, including Sioux County – which voted for Donald Trump by 72 points.
As the only candidate in the Democratic Primary to have ever run against a Republican, Josh knows what it takes to win statewide, and has already won over Independent and Republican voters it will take to flip this seat. This support from every corner of Iowa further proves Josh is the best candidate to take on Ashley Hinson in November.
