The Oskaloosa High School Marching Band has announced its schedule of practices and performances for October 2026.
The band will have several opportunities to perform throughout the month, including invitational competitions, Valleyfest, high school football games and state competition.
October Marching Band Schedule
- Saturday, October 3 at 8:30 a.m. – Morning Practice at Lacey
- Saturday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m. – Performance at North Polk Invitational
- Monday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m. – Practice at Lacey
- Saturday, October 10 at 8:45 a.m. – Morning Practice at Lacey
- Saturday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m. – Performance at Valleyfest
- Monday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m. – Practice at Lacey
- Friday, October 16 at 5:30 p.m. – Performance at the Oskaloosa High School Football Game Halftime
- Saturday, October 17 – State Performance in Pella in the morning; performance at the Waukee Invitational in the afternoon. Times are to be determined.
- Friday, October 23 at 5:30 p.m. – Performance at the Oskaloosa High School Football Game Halftime and Senior Night
The Oskaloosa Marching Band’s 2026 show is titled “All the Lonely People.”
Community members are encouraged to come out and support the band throughout its October performances.
