Jefferson County Engineer DeWayne Heintz is asking Symmetry Festival attendees to avoid using 255th Street to reach the Dewberry venue this weekend, as the road is currently in very muddy condition, according to a message from Heintz.
The Symmetry Music and Arts Festival is scheduled for October 2nd and 3rd in Fairfield. Heintz said he does not anticipate much drying throughout Thursday, October 1st, and is recommending an alternate route for festival-goers. Instead of taking 255th Street directly to Dewberry, attendees are advised to turn right on 255th Street to Clearwood, then head south to 270th Street and back east to the festival.
