Eddyville Raceway Park is back on the market following the withdrawal of a previously announced purchase agreement.

The planned acquisition of the historic drag racing facility by Craig Fawcett was withdrawn this past week due to a change in priorities.

In the meantime, Gerald Kramer and his management team are working on plans to keep Eddyville Raceway Park operating for the 2027 racing season while a new owner is sought.

“While we are disappointed that Craig rescinded his purchase offer, we are fully prepared to operate Eddyville Raceway Park to the highest standards while new ownership is sought,” Kramer said.

Qualified buyers interested in purchasing Eddyville Raceway Park can contact Scott Gardner at sgardner5472@gmail.com.

Those interested in hosting an event at the track during the 2027 season can contact Gerald Kramer at Eddyvilleraceway@hotmail.com.

Eddyville Raceway Park, located near Oskaloosa, is a one-eighth-mile drag racing facility that celebrated 60 years of continuous operation in 2026. The track hosts weekly racing events as well as major events, including the Musco Lighting Night of Fire.
