Ottumwa Family Animal Care is inviting area families to stop by for an afternoon of fun, refreshments and a look behind the scenes during its Fall Open House.
The event will be held Saturday, September 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Ottumwa Family Animal Care, located at 2830 N. Court St. in Ottumwa.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet the animal care team, tour the hospital and learn more about the services provided to local pets and their families.
The open house will also feature raffle drawings, free giveaways, refreshments, special guests and other activities throughout the afternoon.
Organizers say the event is open to both longtime clients and anyone interested in getting to know the team and facility.
Pets should remain at home during the open house. With additional staff, visitors, vendors and clients in the building, the hospital is expected to be busier than usual, which could be stressful for some animals.
Even though pets won’t be attending, they won’t be forgotten. Visitors who leave their furry family members at home can pick up a special treat to take back with them.
Ottumwa Family Animal Care encourages the community to stop by, meet the team and enjoy an afternoon celebrating the pets that are an important part of so many local families.
