Jefferson County Iowa Little League is seeking community members to fill several open board positions, with selections to be made at the organization’s annual membership meeting on September 30th at 6:00 p.m. at the Walton Club, according to social media posts from the league.
The available positions are Safety Officer, Vice President of Softball Operations, and Concession Stand Lead. Board members must pass background checks and be willing to volunteer time during both the season and offseason. Those interested in being added to the ballot can send a text to 641-919-9679.
The annual membership meeting is open to the public and will also include discussion on potential rule changes, a financial report, and an opportunity for members to ask questions and share concerns.
