The Fairfield Beautification Commission has presented Iowa Dance Collective with a Rose Award for Excellence in Design, honoring the organization for the interior renovation of its new Fairfield location, according to a social media post from the commission.
Tyler Malone led the transformation of the interior into what the commission described as a fresh, contemporary, and welcoming environment. The remodeled space features a clean, cohesive design with carefully considered finishes, furnishings, lighting, and work areas — balancing professional functionality with warmth and visual appeal.
Rather than simply adapting the existing space to meet its needs, IDC used the move as an opportunity to reimagine the interior entirely. Attention to proportion, materials, lighting, and the relationship between individual spaces gives the new location a unified look and demonstrates how thoughtful interior design can completely transform an existing property.
The Beautification Commission noted that the renovation also represents a broader investment in the community. “Beautification extends beyond our streets, gardens and building exteriors,” the commission said. “The spaces where we work, meet and welcome others are also part of the character of our community. IDC’s new interior demonstrates the difference thoughtful design and attention to detail can make.”
The Rose Award for Excellence in Design recognizes businesses, organizations, and property owners whose investments in renovation, architecture, and design contribute to the character and quality of Fairfield. Through the program, the commission celebrates those who go above and beyond to make Fairfield a more attractive, welcoming, and vibrant place.
