Beginning Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the northbound lane of South Iowa Avenue will be closed at the railroad tracks to allow for necessary repairs.
A contractor will be on site to remove and replace the concrete panels located between the railroad rails. The work is expected to take a couple of days, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow additional travel time while the repairs are underway. Drivers should use caution in the area and follow all posted traffic-control signs.
The closure will remain in place until the work is completed and the roadway can safely reopen.
