Residents of Wapello County are being reminded about an upcoming public meeting focused on the future of emergency medical services in the community.
Ottumwa Fire Chief Sean Canto is scheduled to present a proposal concerning the future of EMS in Wapello County. The meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about the proposal, hear information directly from local officials and ask questions.
The meeting is set for Wednesday, August 19, at 6 p.m. at Bridge View Center in Ottumwa.
The future of EMS is an issue that could have an impact on residents throughout Wapello County. Community members are encouraged to attend regardless of whether they currently support, oppose or are undecided about the proposal.
