After three decades of dedicated service in law enforcement, Senior Officer Chad Hardman is preparing to close out his career with the Pella Police Department.

Hardman began his law enforcement career 30 years ago and spent the past 26 years serving the Pella community. During that time, he became a familiar and trusted member of the department, working alongside fellow officers while serving residents with dedication and professionalism.

The Pella Police Department is inviting community members, friends, colleagues, and fellow officers to help recognize Hardman and celebrate his retirement.

A retirement open house will be held Wednesday, September 2, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Pella Police Department, located at 614 Main Street.

The department encourages the community to stop by, share memories, and thank Hardman for his years of service to Pella.

After 30 years in law enforcement, including more than two decades with Pella Police, Hardman now begins a new chapter beyond the badge.
