The Iowa Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who failed to return to a Des Moines work release facility as required.
According to the Iowa Department of Corrections, 23-year-old Jolyn Marie Beaver failed to return to the Fresh Start Women’s Center on July 10, 2026.
Beaver is serving time for Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon in Polk County, along with additional convictions for Theft and Extortion. She was admitted to the work release facility on June 8, 2026.
Beaver is described as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 206 pounds.
Anyone with information about Beaver’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
