The Jefferson County Farm Bureau is giving community members a chance to win free admission to the Iowa State Fair through a ticket giveaway currently underway on its Facebook page, according to a press release from the organization.
Three winners will be selected to receive two adult admission tickets each to the 2026 Iowa State Fair. The giveaway runs through 11:59 p.m. on July 24th.
Entering is simple — visit the Fair Season Giveaway post on the Jefferson County Farm Bureau Facebook page at facebook.com/JeffCoFarmBureau and answer the question in the comments: “What is your favorite Iowa State Fair food?” Winners will be announced after the contest closes.
The 2026 Iowa State Fair will be held August 13th through 23rd in Des Moines, with this year’s theme celebrating America’s 250th birthday. The fair draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year with agricultural displays, live entertainment, family activities, and a wide variety of food offerings.
