Ottumwa Regional Health Center is helping families prepare for the upcoming school year by offering free back-to-school sports physicals for student-athletes on Tuesday, August 11.
The event will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at River Valley Place, 1173 E. Rochester Road in Ottumwa. The free physicals are designed to help students complete the required medical exams needed to participate in school athletics.
Families attending should bring:
- A completed school sports physical form
- Parent or guardian identification
- A list of the student’s current medications
A parent or legal guardian must be present during the physical.
In addition to free sports physicals, the event will feature food trucks, vendors, and family-friendly activities. Bub’s Grub and Polar Express are among the vendors scheduled to participate.
