Dog owners looking to improve their pets’ behavior and build better habits will have an opportunity to do so through upcoming dog training classes with trainer Melissa Childs.
Two classes are being offered to help dogs and their owners develop essential skills, improve focus and strengthen their bond.
Intro to Good Manners will begin October 29 at 5:30 p.m. The six-session course costs $120 and is open to dogs of all ages. No previous training is required. The class will focus on establishing a strong foundation for the behaviors owners want to encourage in their dogs.
For dogs ready to take their skills further, Manners on the Go – Advanced begins November 2 at 6:30 p.m. The five-session course costs $100. Participants will work on improving their dogs’ focus and manners around increasing distractions, as well as practicing loose-leash walking in more challenging environments.
Both classes offer dog owners an opportunity to continue building positive behaviors and develop practical skills for everyday situations.
