The Fairfield Beautification Commission will soon begin repainting the historic Central Park gazebo, with volunteers set to start work on Wednesday, July 22nd, according to a social media post from the commission.
The gazebo will be repainted in a rich, warm off-white color selected to honor both the structure’s historic architecture and Fairfield’s community spirit. The refreshed finish is intended to highlight the gazebo’s timeless design while creating a more inviting gathering place for concerts, community celebrations, graduation photography, and everyday enjoyment in the heart of downtown Fairfield.
The project is made possible through a Paint Iowa Beautiful grant, which provides the paint needed to restore one of Fairfield’s most recognizable landmarks.
