Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old from western Iowa.
Micah Dean Pike Auten was last in contact on July 5, 2026, and has since been reported missing. He is described as a White male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
Anyone who believes they have seen Micah is urged not to approach or attempt to intervene. Instead, try to gather helpful information such as the exact location, time of the sighting, a vehicle description or license plate number, and any other relevant details before contacting authorities.
Anyone with information about Micah’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Council Bluffs Police Department or the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse.
