The monthly Veterans Mobile Food Distribution will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
All veterans and surviving spouses of eligible veterans are invited to participate.
Important: July is the annual re-registration month for all participants. The Food Bank of Iowa requires every participant to re-register once each year. First-time participants must also complete the registration process.
Participants should be prepared to provide:
- Proof of honorable military service
- Name
- Address
- Household size
- Phone number
Please note that the annual re-registration process may add a minute or two to the check-in time for each participant. Having the required documentation readily available will help the registration team move everyone through the line as efficiently as possible.
Veterans who are picking up food for other veterans or eligible surviving spouses must also provide all of the required information listed above for each person they are picking up for. A maximum of four orders, including the person picking up, will be allowed.
For the safety of everyone involved and to help reduce traffic congestion, please do not line up before 3:30 p.m.
