An Agency man is facing a charge after authorities say he violated a court-issued no-contact order.

According to court records, the Ottumwa Police Department investigated a report of a no-contact order violation on the evening of May 31. Investigators allege that Casey Grove, 43, of Agency, contacted the protected party through social media despite multiple active protection orders that have been in place since 2025 and remain effective until further order of the court.

Court documents state the victim provided messages that allegedly showed the contact occurred.

Grove was arrested and transported to the Wapello County Jail. He was later released after posting a $500 cash or surety bond.

A no-contact order was issued on June 1. A pretrial conference is scheduled for June 25.

Grove is charged with violation of a no-contact/protective order, a simple misdemeanor.
