The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, is advising motorists of a temporary full closure of Highway T15 across the Red Rock Dam from May 12 through May 14.
The closure is required to allow crews to continue work on the ongoing rehabilitation project involving the dam’s gates. During this time, all traffic will be prohibited from crossing the dam, and drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes in advance.
Officials note that additional partial and full roadway closures may occur periodically throughout 2026 as work on the project continues.
