The Indianola Police Department and the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse are asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Kriston Jeanette Harwood, who was last known to have contact on April 29, 2026.
Harwood is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She has black hair and blue eyes. Authorities have not released additional details surrounding her disappearance, but investigators continue efforts to locate her and ensure her safety.
Anyone who believes they may have seen Harwood is encouraged not to approach or intervene directly. Instead, officials ask the public to gather as much information as possible, including a possible vehicle description, license plate number, exact location, direction of travel, or any activities observed, and immediately report the information to law enforcement.
